Why Isn’t ‘Teen Mom OG’ On Tonight? MTV Explains Season 6, Episode 12 Delay
“Teen Mom OG” fans will have to spend their Halloween night without an update from their favorite moms. MTV has decided to delay airing the next Season 6 installment.
The network has informed International Business Times that episode 12 will air one week later than originally expected on Monday, Nov. 7, in its usual 9 p.m. EDT timeslot. So, what’s the reason for the delay? Halloween, of course! MTV will be airing “True Life: I’m a Witch” in place of “Teen Mom OG” at 9 p.m. EDT on Monday, Oct. 31.
When “Teen Mom OG” does return in November, expect lots of tears and drama. A sneak peek of “The Ties That Bind” show Catelynn and Tyler Baltierra upset over visitation issues with their adopted daughter Carly’s parents. When the adoption agent reminds Cateylnn and Tyler it’s at the discretion of the family to have visits, Catelynn wonders if they won’t hear from their Carly again until she’s 18.
“It’s just f---ing frustrating because I was f---ing 16 years old when I made those decisions,” Catelynn says through tears.
Elsewhere in the installment, Amber Portwood and Matt Baier will move his adult son, who was introduced in episode 11, into their home to help keep him sober. Fresh off the opening of her frozen yogurt shop, Farrah Abraham will begin her next business venture and, unsurprisingly, find herself in another fight.
The episode’s synopsis does not state what’s ahead of Maci Bookout, but a sneak peek reveals she’ll be celebrating her bridal shower before marrying Taylor McKinney. Watch a scene from her pre-wedding celebration below.
Catch “True Life: I’m a Witch” Monday at 9 p.m. EDT on MTV. “Teen Mom OG” Season 6 returns Monday, Nov. 7.
