Why It’s ‘Inevitable’ That Jennifer Lopez Will Marry Alex Rodriguez

There’s been endless speculation about the status of Jennifer Lopez and Alex Rodriguez’s relationship, but a new report claims that the two are definitely going to marry one day.

In a new interview with Us Weekly, director Peter Segal, who worked with Lopez on her upcoming film “Second Act,” admitted that in his mind, there’s no question that the pair will get married one day.

“You know, I think it’s inevitable [that they are going to get married] but I’m not going to predict when. The question is when, not it,” Segal told the publication.

The comment comes after Lopez appeared on “The Ellen DeGeneres Show” in November and admitted she wasn’t sure about marriage with her beau of more than a year.

The couple first sparked engagement rumors in October when Lopez was spotted wearing a massive diamond ring. However, the reports were quickly squashed, as a source stated that the “Dinero” singer wasn’t really sure if she wanted to get married again at all.

“They were ready to get married early on and talked about it. But Jennifer decided she wants to do it differently this time,” a source told Us Weekly at the time. “She’s been down the marriage road and doesn’t know if she wants to do it again...Everything s working out so well, she doesn’t want to jinx it or change anything.”

Lopez was previously married to Ojani Noa from 1997-1998, Cris Judd from 2002-2003 and Marc Anthony, with whom she shares 10-year-old twins Max and Emme, from 2004-2014. Rodriguez was also previously married to Cynthia Scurtis from 2002-2008 and has two daughters with her, Natasha, 14, and Ella, 10.
