Why Jennifer Garner Doesn't Bring Boyfriend John Miller To Red Carpet Appearances

Jennifer Garner's relationship with boyfriend John Miller is going strong, but the couple keeps their romance relatively low-key.

After her failed marriage with ex-husband Ben Affleck, Garner said she that prefers keeping her relationship with Miller away from the public eye and tabloids. The "Alias" alum revealed in a previous interview that there is a lot of pressure on couples to show something newsworthy that it could ruin a relationship.

"What I think I've learned is that the scrutiny in your private life puts a pressure to make something happen," Garner said on "CBS This Morning" last year.

"You feel a pressure to hurry up and get married, 'cause you think that'll end the, 'Are they engaged? Are they not?' And that's true in the reverse, as well. If there is any inkling of trouble, if the tabloids decide there's trouble, it can create trouble," she continued.

A source also told E! News that Garner is "determined" to keep their relationship "private and for themselves."

Garner has indeed kept her relationship with her boyfriend out of the spotlight since news broke in October last year that she has moved on from Affleck. She and Miller haven't graced the red carpet together and are rarely photographed in public together.

According to E! News, the "Peppermint" star is "keeping things under wraps by going away with him and seeing him in private places. She's enjoying being with him and doing it the way she wants."

Garner and Miller were last photographed together publicly in February when they enjoyed a dinner date with two other couples.

At the time, the "Love, Simon" star enjoyed a meal at Italian restaurant Giorgio Baldi in Santa Monica with the CaliGroup CEO. An onlooker told Daily Mail that the couple and their pals stayed in the eatery for three hours before leaving.

Prior to this sighting, Garner and Miller were also spotted packing on PDA at the Farm Shop in LA's Brentwood Country Mart mall. The two had breakfast together on the day before Valentine's and shared a sweet hug before leaving in separate cars.

While her relationship with Miller is going strong, Garner has also been committed to co-parenting her three children with Affleck: Violet, 13, Seraphina, 10, and Samuel, 7. Miller also has two children from a previous marriage.
