Why Jennifer Garner Prefers Boyfriend John Miller Over Ben Affleck

Jennifer Garner and her boyfriend John Millers' relationships going strong, but the two usually keep their romance out of the public eye.

Garner, 46, reportedly prefers it this way. A source told Us Weekly that the "Alias" alum likes that Miller's job doesn't put him in the spotlight, allowing them to keep their relationship relatively low-key.

Unlike Garner's actor ex-husband Ben Affleck, Miller is a businessman and the CEO of Cali Group. He is reportedly a "simple guy," and Garner loves him for it.

“They're doing great,” the insider told the outlet of the couple who have been dating for nearly a year now. “[Jennifer] loves that he’s not in the entertainment industry and is just a simple guy.”

Reports of Garner and Miller dating first broke in October 2018, just days before the "Peppermint" star finalized her divorce from Affleck.

At the time, a source told Us Weekly that people close to the couple would not be "surprised if they got engaged by summer." The insider claimed that Garner and Miller have talked about their future together and "discussed" marriage.

However, another insider recently told Entertainment Tonight that the couple is not ready to take their relationship to the next level. While things between Garner and Miller "has gotten serious," the two are reportedly planning to enjoy the "true honeymoon phase in their relationship."

The same source explained that Garner "has no interest" in remarrying so quickly after finalizing her divorce from Affleck and just wants to enjoy spending time with her boyfriend.

Garner and Miller were last photographed together in February enjoying a dinner date. The happy pair had dinner at Italian restaurant Giorgio Baldi in Santa Monica with two other couples for around three hours, Daily Mail reported.

Garner and her beau were all smiles as they left the restaurant after their dinner date. The actress looked gorgeous in a gray coat, black pants and heels, while Miller looked dapper in a black suit, white button shirt and no tie.

Meanwhile, Garner has maintained an amicable relationship with her ex-husband, with whom she shares three children: Violet, 13, Seraphina, 10, and Samuel, 7. The two are often spotted spending time with their kids as a family and even dropping their children off to school in the morning in Brentwood, California.
