Kaley Cuoco is quite happy with her single life, so she’s not in a rush to find love again, according to a report.
It’s been three months since the 36-year-old actress broke up with husband Karl Cook, 30, but she’s not yet ready to start dating again, an insider exclusively told Us Weekly Sunday.
According to the unnamed source, even though Cuoco is “positive” and “open-minded” about finding love after her split from the equestrian, she’s not really keen on getting back into the dating scene for now.
“Dating just doesn’t seem to be her focus right now,” the insider told the outlet. “She’s really happy where she is in her life.”
The tipster also shared that as the Hollywood star works through her separation from Cook, she’s been receiving support from her loved ones.
”She’s been showered with gifts, flowers, and so much love from her friends, family, costars [and] her team” on her recent birthday, said the source. Cuoco turned 36 on Nov. 30.
However, the “Big Bang Theory” alum admitted on her Instagram Stories that she was not completely happy on her birthday despite being showered with love by her family and friends.
“Sometimes it’s OK to not feel totally OK. Even on [your birthday]. I have the greatest [family] and friends that there ever was,” she captioned a selfie she took with one of her pet horses, according to Entertainment Tonight.
In a follow-up post, the actress shared that despite what she was feeling, she managed to get by with the help of her favorite pony.
“A quick stop by the barn for some magical pony kisses always helps,” she wrote in another post that showed her getting a kiss on the cheek from a pony.
Cuoco and Cook announced in September their decision to split after three years of marriage. In a joint statement to E! News, they said that even though they have “deep love and respect for one another,” they have come to realize that their individual paths are taking them to different directions.
Days after the announcement, a source told Us Weekly that Cuoco has decided to take a break from relationships and wants to focus on herself first.
“She really wants to take this time to focus on herself and focus on her upcoming roles,” the insider said of Cuoco, who is currently busy working on the second season of her hit HBO Max series “The Flight Attendant.”
