Why Kanye West Still Hangs Out With Vinetria Despite Attempts To Win Back Kim Kardashian: Report

Kanye West likes having model Vinetria around despite his recent public pleas to reconcile with estranged wife Kim Kardashian, according to a report.

West, 44 — who now goes by Ye — has been linked to the 22-year-old model since early November. An unnamed source close to the Yeezy founder told E! News that they aren't "exclusively dating" but are still "hanging out" as West continues his attempts to win back Kardashian, 41, who filed for divorce in February.

"Kanye is still hanging out and seeing model Vinetria, despite also trying to win Kim back," the insider said. "Kanye likes Vinetria's company and has continued to bring her around his friend group. She has stayed in his house several times in the last month and has been invited to social functions with him."

"They aren't exclusively dating, but are casually hanging out," the source continued, adding that "it's a great distraction for Kanye" at the moment.

Another insider close to the rapper also told the outlet last month that West was "interested" in Vinetria, but that they were not "seriously dating." According to the source, West, who met the model through mutual friends in the fashion industry, "loves" the company but was not committed to any person.

The first source claimed that West "will do anything to win Kim back," but "deep down, he knows it's not going to happen."

Back in November, the Grammy-winning rapper said on Revolt's "Drink Champs" that Kardashian was still his wife and that he hasn't received the divorce paperwork.

Last week, West also dedicated his song "Runaway" to Kardashian during his Free Larry Hoover concert in Los Angeles. The reality TV star attended the show along with their two oldest children, her sister Kendall Jenner and mom Kris Jenner.

After singing the lyrics, "I need you to run right back to me, baby," West added, "more specifically, Kimberly."

Just hours after the concert, Kardashian, who shares North, 8, Saint, 6, Chicago, 3, and Psalm, 2, with West, filed paperwork requesting to be declared legally single amid their ongoing divorce.

"Kim is making a statement by doubling down that she’s single," an anonymous source told Page Six. "She thinks it's strange that Kanye keeps saying he wants her back, but all the while he's got the model at his Malibu house."

Kardashian stated in the court documents that no counseling or reconciliation efforts will be able to repair her marriage to her estranged husband.

"Irreconcilable differences have led to the irremediable breakdown of the marriage," Kardashian’s filing said. "The continued maintenance of technical marital status between [Kim] and [Ye] serves no useful purpose, and there is no reason to maintain the legal relationship."
