Why Kate Beckinsale Is So Happy With Much Younger Boyfriend Pete Davidson

Kate Beckinsale and Pete Davidson have been raising eyebrows and turning heads ever since they were spotted getting flirty at one of the Golden Globes after-parties. However, the couple does not mind all the criticisms being thrown at them because of their big age gap.

The “Underworld” actress is said to be very happy with Ariana Grande’s ex-boyfriend and it shows on their outings since news broke that they are dating. A source close to Beckinsale has revealed why the Hollywood star is on cloud nine amid her romance with the stand-up comedian.

“She’s very happy with Pete. They have similar senses of humor and she’s always laughing with him,” Beckinsale’s pal told People on Wednesday.

On the same day, Kate decided to show off her sexy body on Instagram by sharing a photo of her wearing a skimpy semi-sheer plunging black leotard. The snap was taken from a bathroom and so she decided to poke fun at her post.

“Brief stint as bathroom attendant during which I handed out small towels and very brief inspirational dancercise tutorials,” the 45-year-old actress captioned her photo.

Last weekend, Davidson addressed his romance with Beckinsale on national television. During his “Weekend Update” skit with Colin Jost on “Saturday Night Live,” the 25-year-old comedian said that he and Beckinsale are not at all bothered by people’s “crazy fascination with our age difference.”

He then said that for people who have a problem with their age gap, they should ask other Hollywood actors who have dated much younger girls. He named Leonardo DiCaprio, Michael Douglas, Alec Baldwin, Sean Penn, Larry King and President Donald Trump to make a point.

Sources previously said that Kate and Pete are not looking for something serious, so their relationship is unlikely to progress to a commitment. However, Davidson’s latest tattoo could be hinting at the opposite.

Pete got a new tattoo on his forearm last week and it’s a muscular unicorn. It wasn’t clear why he chose the mythical creature for his biggest skin art yet. But Unicorns Rule says unicorns symbolize the feeling of walking on clouds when a new relationship takes off. Hence, it’s possible that Davidson’s new ink could be a sign of his growing feelings for Beckinsale.
