Why Kate Middleton Returned To London With George, Charlotte But Not William
Kate Middleton recently returned to London with Prince George and Princess Charlotte after her children’s short Easter break. However, Prince William didn’t join his family.
A photo of the Duchess of Cambridge shows the mom of three smiling from ear to ear inside their car. Behind her is Prince George, who is staring straight into the camera. The third in line to the throne has a worried look on his face.
According to Hello! magazine, Prince William didn’t return to London with his family because he actually traveled to New Zealand on Tuesday morning for an official visit.
Prince William will be in New Zealand until Thursday to pay tribute to the extraordinary compassion and solidarity that the people of New Zealand have displayed in recent weeks. The second in line to the throne is on the official visit on behalf of Queen Elizabeth II.
The Duke of Cambridge arrived in Auckland from London, and he visited Christchurch to meet with survivors, first respondents, and families affected by the attacks.
Meanwhile, since Prince William was not in London on April 23, he is believed to have celebrated Prince Louis’ first birthday with his family before the said date. On Monday, Kensington Palace also paid tribute to the toddler by sharing a series of photos of him. Some of the snaps were taken by Middleton herself.
And now that Prince George and Princess Charlotte are back in London, this could only mean that they have already gone back to school as well. Prince George is currently studying at Thomas’s Battersea, while Princess Charlotte is enrolled at Willocks Nursery School.
The Cambridges spent the Easter holiday in their family home in Anmer Hall in Norfolk. Last week, they were photographed spending the day with Zara Tindall, Mike Tindall, and Mia Tindall. Prince William and Middleton also attended an Easter church service with the royal family sans their kids last Sunday.
