Jamie Foxx may not be ready to fully commit to Katie Holmes, but that doesn’t mean the “Dawson’s Creek” alum is willing to break up with her boyfriend over it.

Foxx and Holmes, who have been reportedly dating since 2013, have done their best to keep their relationship out of the spotlight. However, after the “Beat Shazam” host commented on their recent PDA filled vacation, those close to the actress revealed there are no plans for a wedding anytime soon.

A source told Us Weekly Foxx has no intention of getting engaged to his girlfriend despite dating for five years. “Jamie does care for her, but his recent behavior makes people question that,” the insider revealed.

During an interview, the 50-year-old star called his romantic yacht trip with Holmes in Miami “foolish.” However, those close to the 40-year-old actress don’t believe the comment will not be enough to make Holmes end their relationship. “She’s infatuated with him,” the source explained.

“It’s what Katie signed up for,” the insider added.

Although some people in Holmes’ inner circle are worried the actress will get her heart broken, sources revealed her nontraditional romance with Foxx is a “relationship that works for her.”
