Kim Kardashian is worried for her children with Kanye West as she and her husband of six years go through a divorce, a report has claimed.
An unnamed source exclusively told Us Weekly Tuesday that more than anything, the “Keeping Up With the Kardashians” star, 40, is now worried that she will never be able to give her children with West, 44, a complete family.
“Kim really worries for her kids and that she couldn’t give them a traditional family home,” the source said, noting that this is what’s causing the reality star the most pain at this point.
The tipster also disclosed that the Skims founder is having a “very hard” time reliving what went down before she ended her marriage with West since their marital problems are currently being featured in the finale season of their reality show.
“Kim worked so hard and did everything in her power to make the marriage work and seeing it now brings up a lot of pain,” the insider said.
Kardashian and West share four children together, North, 7, Saint, 5, Chicago, 3, and Psalm, 2. The kids have been staying with their mother in Los Angeles amid the pandemic, while the Yeezy designer chose to quarantine in Wyoming.
As for the custody of their kids, Kardashian and West seemingly agreed that they want to have joint custody over them and that they don’t want spousal support from each other, according to court documents obtained by TMZ in April.
Even though Kris Jenner’s daughter and the rapper are now leading separate lives after Kardashian filed for divorce in February, the KKW Beauty mogul still assured her ex that she’ll love him forever.
On West’s birthday on Tuesday, Kardashian grabbed the opportunity to greet the father of her kids on his special day. She took to Instagram to share a family photo where West is seen flashing a big smile and captioned it, “Happy Birthday Love U for Life!”
Meanwhile, an anonymous insider disclosed to People late last week that Kardashian is now doing well even though she initially struggled to accept the end of their marriage.
“Kim is doing great. She was really struggling around the time she filed for divorce. She was very upset about it and really didn't want to file. She has come a long way since she filed for divorce, though. She's very happy and convinced that she made the right decision,” the source was quoted as saying by the outlet.
