Why Lamar Odom’s Health Crisis Led Khloé Kardashian To Get Lip Fillers Removed

Kylie Jenner isn’t the only member of her family to try lip fillers. On a recent episode of FYI’s “Kocktails With Khloé,” he show's star Khloe Kardashian opened up about getting the procedure done but admitted it wasn’t the best idea.

While gossiping about plastic surgery with her guests, “Real Housewives of Orange County" star Heather Dubrow and husband Dr. Terry Dubrow, Khloé admitted to having her lips plumped but couldn’t remember if it was Botox or fillers.

“I could not make … I had to dissolve everything,” Khloé, half-sister of Kylie, explained on Wednesday’s show. Terry chimed in, telling the reality star that she most likely had Botox, but later said it was fillers.

“It did not work for me. I looked crazy and I still think the effects are like still in there,” Khloé said. “I went to have it all dissolved like three times.”

Khloé explained to her guests that she got the fillers shortly before her estranged husband, Lamar Odom, was hospitalized. Her doctor believes it didn’t work on her because she was so stressed out. “The doctor was like, too much was happening to your real emotions,” she said.

As for whether Khloé would ever get lip fillers again, the reality star said she’s a little apprehensive about it now. Later on “Kocktails With the Khloé” she praised Kylie Jenner’s fuller pout, telling viewers that she thinks her younger half-sister has “beautiful” lips now.

Radar Online reported in January that Khloé was having second thoughts about getting fillers because she didn’t get the results she wanted. A source told the outlet that Khloé supposedly said it was like “carrying a mouth full of concrete.”

“Khloé privately admits she knows they look terrible, but if she doesn’t keep trying to maintain the look, she’s worried her whole mouth will collapse and look like a freak show,” the source said.

As previously reported, Kim Kardashian poked fun at Khloé’s new face on a recent episode of “Keeping Up With the Kardashians.” At the time the 31-year-old denied doing anything to alter her appearance.
