Why Meghan Markle Always Wears Her Turquoise Earrings Since Son’s Birth
Meghan Markle has been photographed wearing a beautiful turquoise earring since the birth of her son, Archie Harrison Mountbatten-Windsor.
According to People, the stunning accessory actually has a special meaning to the Duchess of Sussex. The 18-carat gold earrings are designed by Jennifer Meyer, and they feature a sleek rectangular shape. But what makes the earrings standout is the fact that it has a turquoise inlay.
Since the birth of her son, Markle has been wearing a lot of turquoise jewelry, and there may be a reason for that. Heather Askinoise, the co-founder of Energy Muse and the co-author of “Crystal Muse: Everyday Rituals to Tune Into the Real You,” told the publication that turquoise is known as the master healer.
“It is a wonderful gemstone to connect with when you want to bring focus to your health. Turquoise is the perfect crystal for a new mom as it is said to bring blessings to those who wear it,” she said.
Markle’s earrings are priced at $395, and they may be purchased on Meyer’s website or at Net-a-Porter.
In related news, the Duchess of Sussex also made headlines this week after it was revealed that the Queen uttered a heartbreaking joke about her and Prince Harry’s baby.
Writing in an article for Vanity Fair, royal author Katie Nicholl said that Her Majesty once thought that she would no longer be around to meet Prince Harry’s children.
“Not so long ago, she joked that she probably wouldn’t be around to see Harry have children, but here she is at age 93, welcoming another baby,” she said.
Prince Harry had been single for quite some time before he met Markle. This could be the reason why the Queen didn’t think that she would get to meet her grandson’s future children.
Prior to dating Markle, Prince Harry has been with a slew of other women but he never considered getting married to them.
