Meghan Markle and Prince Harry have unfollowed everyone on Instagram, but the calculated move means much more than fans think. No, the Duke and Duchess aren't petty. They are actually looking to shine a light on those doing good in the world.

A post to their social media account (@sussexroyal) on Monday revealed the reason for the unfollowing.

"For the month of August we look to you for help. We want to know who YOUR Force for Change is," the caption reads. "Each month, we change the accounts we follow to highlight various causes, people or organisations doing amazing things for their communities and the world at large."

"Over the next few days please add your suggestions into the comments section: someone you look up to, the organisation doing amazing work that we should all be following, an account that inspires you to be and do better (or that simply makes you feel good), or the handle that brims with optimism for a brighter tomorrow," it continued. "We will choose 15 accounts and follow them next Monday, as we spend the month of August acknowledging the Forces for Change in all of our lives."

The post perfectly aligns with the release of the September issue of British Vogue which Markle guest-edited. The new mom also handpicked the 15 "forces for change" that were featured in the magazine.

This inspiring reason is far different from what was originally speculated. Coming off the heels of splitting from the charity they shared with Prince William and Kate Middleton, it was easy to assume the worst.

Thankfully, though, fans can rest assured that Prince Harry and Markle are putting social media to good use.
