Why Meghan Markle’s Acting Career Is Causing Her To Fail The Royal Family

Although Meghan Markle’s marriage to Prince Harry made her an official member of the British royal family, the California native can’t seem to shake the ambitious attitude that helped her thrive in the entertainment industry.

Before Meghan married Harry, she landed several minor parts before booking a lead role in the USA network show “Suits.” However, some believe Meghan’s acting career may be the reason why she is failing to fit in with the royal family.

During an appearance on “Good Morning Britain,” Lady Colin Campbell claimed Meghan needed to focus on being a Duchess rather than using the same mentality she had when she was an actress.

“I have an awful feeling that Meghan needs to understand things that she doesn’t yet understand,” she said.

“Like there’s a massive difference between being a celebrity hustling your way from the bottom to the top - and she was a very proud hustler, she used to use the word hustle for herself and her first husband very proudly - and being a lady or being a royal,” Campbell continued.

Unlike the entertainment industry, Campbell revealed Meghan doesn’t need to prove herself. “You don’t hustle, the values, the embodiment is completely different,” she said.

Although Meghan has made some mistakes since joining the royal family, Campbell believes she still has a chance to redeem herself. “I think the verdict is out at the moment. I’m rooting for Meghan,” she shared.

“I hope that Meghan is going to do as she appeared in the very early days that she would be doing. I have to say, the ride has been rather rockier than one would have hoped,” the “Good Morning Britain” guest continued.

Once Meghan figures out her role in the royal family, Campbell predicts the Duchess of Sussex will change her ways. “She’s sorted, she’s got it. I think she needs to now embrace it and understand it’s a new game in town. She’s an actress; she needs to come up with a new act.”

Meghan has come under fire on several occasions for dismissing royal traditions and shutting out the public. Although some onlookers still criticize her decisions, Meghan has continued to put on a brave face despite the backlash.
