Mila Kunis and Ashton Kutcher have revealed that baths aren't an everyday thing for their kids.

During their appearance on Dax Shepard and Monica Padman's "Armchair Expert" podcast, Kunis, 37, and Kutcher, 43, said that they don't believe in bathing their daughter Wyatt Isabelle, 6, and son Dimitri Portwood, 4, with soap every day.

The topic came up during a discussion on their shower habits. The couple backed Shepard, 46, after he told Padman, 33, that she "should not be getting rid of the natural oil on your skin with a bar of soap every day" and instead only wash with water.

"I can't believe I am in the minority here of washing my whole body in the shower. Who taught you to not wash?" Padman asked.

"I didn't have hot water growing up as a child, so I didn't shower much anyway," Kunis replied, adding, "But when I had children, I also didn't wash them every day. I wasn't that parent that bathed my newborns — ever."

Shepard chimed in saying that he and his wife, Kristen Bell, used to bathe their daughters Lincoln, 8, and Delta, 6, daily. It became "part of a nighttime routine." However, they stopped when the kids got older.

Kunis shared that they felt the same about their children.

"Now, here's the thing: If you can see the dirt on them, clean them. Otherwise, there's no point," Kutcher added.

As for their own bathing habits, Kunis and Kutcher said they refrain from using soap on their entire bodies every day. In fact, there are only specific body parts where Kutcher uses soap.

"I wash my armpits and my crotch daily, and nothing else ever," Kutcher said, adding, "I got a bar of Lever 2000 that delivers every time. Nothing else."

But though they may not bathe daily, the couple both agreed that washing the face should be an everyday habit.

"I do have a tendency to throw some water on my face after a workout to get all the salts out," Kutcher said.

"I do wash my face twice a day," Kunis added.

According to the American Academy of Dermatology Association, children ages 6 to 11 should bathe at least once a week and shower daily only when puberty begins.

Adam Friedman, a professor of dermatology at the George Washington School of Medicine and Health Sciences, told Today Parents, “Water is probably the No. 1 irritant on the planet because it washes away the natural moisturizing factors that our skin makes.”

Meanwhile, earlier this year, Kunis and Kutcher reunited on screen for a Super Bowl LV commercial for Cheetos Crunch Pop Mix. According to the "Black Swan" star, they accepted the offer because they found the pitch hilarious.

"It's so silly! Ashton and I, we never work together. I mean, I know we worked together before…And in the midst of quarantine, they sent us this ad to do and every time I've ever been offered a Super Bowl ad it's always a female having to be scantily clad," Kunis told Entertainment Tonight. "And this one comes around, I started laughing so hard and Ashton was like, 'This is kind of funny.' And I was like, 'We should do it!'"
