Prince Harry reportedly felt as though he was at a disadvantage while in the British Army.

In the book “Harry: Conversations With the Prince,” royal author Angela Levin said that the Duke of Sussex was aware that he got accepted into the force by the skin of his teeth. But despite feeling like he was at a disadvantage, Meghan Markle’s husband still served in the Army for 10 years.

“Harry had dreamt of being a real soldier in the British Army since he was two and now at last his chance had come. He knew that, like Eton, he had only been accepted by the skin of his teeth… Unlike him, more than 80 percent of his fellow officer cadets were university graduates,” she said.

Prince Harry’s age was reportedly a disadvantage to his career. He was 20 when he joined the British Army, which meant that he was one or two years younger than the rest of the officers. He also lacked the experience and maturity that comes from spending three years at the university.

But despite all of his this, Prince Harry managed to connect with the veterans in a way that no one has done. He also used his own instincts and experience to help the veterans open up about their time serving.

Meanwhile, Prince Harry also made headlines this week after it was revealed that Camilla Parker Bowles managed to win him and Prince William over after she started dating their dad, Prince Charles.

While speaking with Fox News, journalist Juliet Rice said that there had been a historical misconception about the Duchess of Cornwall because of her contribution to Prince Charles and Princess Diana’s failed marriage.

But as the years passed, Camilla became a great matriarch to the Royal Family, and she also served as great support for the younger royals, most especially Prince William and Prince Harry.

During a previous interview, the siblings said that they have a good relationship with Camilla because she makes Prince Charles really happy.
