Prince William’s family won’t disown him due to his rumored affair even if it turns out to be true.

Earlier this year, the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge were plagued with cheating scandal. Prince William allegedly had an affair with a family friend named Rose Hanbury. Many are wondering if this thing is accepted in the royal family.

According to Jessie Quinn, Prince William is no the first member of the royal family plagued with this issue. Prince Philip reportedly had a string of affairs too.

The Duke of Edinburgh had been accused of cheating on Queen Elizabeth II with singer Pat Kirkwood and a few young, beautiful women. Royal biographer Christopher Wilson said that the 97-year-old royal is not against affairs. For him, they are allowed to do it, but it should remain a secret.

Prince Charles’ also had an affair with Camilla Parker Bowles while he was still married to Princess Diana.

“The problem with Prince Charles was, you are not supposed to be in love with your mistress, you are supposed to have sex with your mistress, but Charles had fallen in love with Camilla and that really screwed everything,” Wilson said about the future king.

Princess Diana was reportedly guilty of this too. She allegedly had several men while still married to Prince Charles because it took years before their divorce was finalized.

Prince Charles’ royal sister, Princess Anne, also had an affair. The Royal Princess fell for her mother’s personal attendant Timothy Laurence in 1989. Their private letters were leaked and shortly after that, Princess Anne and her first husband, Mark Phillips, announced their split. Princess Anne went on and married her lover, Laurence, in 1992.

Considering that a number of royals had an affair, it’s likely that they would understand Prince William if the cheating rumors were true.

“If Prince William really did cheat on Kate Middleton with her best friend — or anyone for that matter — it’s likely he won’t be disowned from the royal family for his actions. After all, some of the family’s most prominent members are guilty of similar behavior,” Quinn wrote.

Just recently, Star published a report that Middleton moved out of the palace with her kids after Prince William confessed that he was no longer happy with their marriage. However, one should take that report with a grain of salt, as the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge had been seen together lately and they were not showing any signs of a strained marriage.
