Sophia Bush has chosen to no longer talk about her ex-husband Chad Michael Murray amid her recent engagement to her entrepreneur beau Grant Hughes.

When the 39-year-old actress made an appearance on the “Inside of You with Michael Rosenbaum” podcast this week, she opened up about her decision to stop talking about her ex.

“Oh, I’m not going to talk about him at all,” Bush was quoted as saying by Page Six when asked by the host about her ex, who is also her former co-star on “One Tree Hill.”

“I’m not allowed to because I’ve tried to poke fun at being a dumb kid and whenever I’ve done that, it gets twisted into [that] I’m talking s–t about somebody who I don’t even know anymore, who’s clearly a grown-up,” she added.

Bush made it clear that she has no “ill will” toward Murray, also 39, despite their messy split that ended in divorce just five months after they tied the knot in 2005, as per Marie Claire.

According to the “John Tucker Must Die” actress, speaking about their past together is “not worth my time.” She added that their marriage when they were both 23 years old was only a product of their whirlwind romance that took place at a time when she was “very naive.”

Bush said she is willing to chalk it up to experience now that she has become more mature.

Now, she is moving on to the next chapter in her life as she recently got engaged to Hughes.

On Tuesday, the Hollywood star took to Instagram to share a snap of her beau on one knee in Lake Como, Italy. In her caption, she revealed that they officially got engaged after Hughes proposed to her during a romantic boat ride, as seen in the photo.

“So it turns out that being your favorite person’s favorite person is the actual best feeling on planet Earth,” she wrote.

The “Chicago P.D.” star and the businessman, who lives in Los Angeles, were first linked together last year when they were spotted holding hands in Malibu in May 2020, as per a separate Page Six report.
