Why ‘Teen Mom: Young And Pregnant’ Star Rachel Beavers’ Mom Was Issued Arrest Warrant
"Teen Mom: Young And Pregnant" star Rachel Beaver may have just joined the series, but it's her mother, Stephanie Bollen, that's making headlines for failure to pay child support.
Court papers from Cobb County Court revealed that the Human Resources Department sued Stephanie in 2008 for the recovery of child support for her three daughters Malorie, Rachel, and Carter. According to Radar Online, the claim stated that she "failed, neglected, or refused to provide adequate and timely support for said minor children."
About a year later, in 2009, a complaint for contempt was filed against the mother of three because she “willfully failed and refused to comply with said order" to pay about $350 a month in support. Apparently, Stephanie didn't learn her lesson because the same complaint was filed against her in 2013, and when she failed to appear in court, an arrest warrant was issued.

In 2014 the warrant was returned, and at this point, she owed over $20,000 in past-due child support. She was eventually ordered to pay about $70 a month, and this time an Income Deduction Order was made effective immediately.
Rachel first appeared on Season 2 of "Teen Mom: Young And Pregnant." On the show, she's been open about her mother's past battle with addiction, and it seems that her mother is in a much better place these days.
The MTV newbie's addition to the show comes after Jade Cline, who appeared on Season 1 of "Young And Pregnant," was bumped up to the "Teen Mom 2" roster.
"Teen Mom: Young And Pregnant" airs Tuesdays on MTV at 9 PM ET.
