Mel B was taken to London's Moorfields Eye Hospital after reportedly losing sight in one of her eyes.

The entrepreneur, who was born Melanie Brown, already is unable to see out of her left eye due to a laser surgery that went wrong 20 years ago.

"Mel was in a really bad way. The other girls and their managers were really worried," a source told The Sun, referring to the Spice Girls, since they have a reunion tour coming up.

The source added about Mel B's condition, "Mel was frantic and screaming that she couldn't see a thing. She went to the hospital in a chauffeur-driven car with an assistant, who was holding her hand. No one knew what brought it on but she had very swift, and very good, treatment."

A spokeswoman for the Spice Girls told The Sun, "The situation is under control and she has received treatment. She is back in rehearsals and is looking forward to the tour starting next week."

This tour was announced in November 2018 and is set to have 13 shows in Europe, beginning on May 24 in Dublin, Ireland and concluding on June 15 in London, England. This will be the group's first performance together since the 2012 Summer Olympics closing ceremony and their first tour without Victoria Beckham, who was unable to join them due to her commitment to her fashion empire.
