Will Amanda Kloots And Alan Bersten Win Season 30 Of ‘Dancing With The Stars?’
A new “Dancing With the Stars” champion will be crowned in just a couple of days, and after a season that saw them steadily top the judges’ leaderboard, Amanda Kloots and Alan Bersten could see themselves taking the title.
From the beginning, Amanda and Alan, also known as #TeamAmandalan, have been favorites for the judges, with the “Talk” co-host often praised for her movements and lines in her routines on the ABC series. Now, ad they approach the finals, they could see themselves potentially having a chance at claiming the Mirrorball Trophy. While the competition is perhaps one of the tighter ones in recent history, there are plenty of reasons to believe the pair is going to take home the title.
Pros:
They Have Consistently Performed Well With The Judges
When it comes to earning higher scores from the judges, Amanda and Alan have been consistent throughout the season, often nearing the top of the leaderboard each week. To date, they are the second-highest scorers of the season, with an average of 35.4 points. They only rank behind Jojo Siwa and Jenna Johnson, by one full point, giving them a prime spot to be sitting in going into the final round.
She Hasn’t Had A Lack Of Support
Amanda has enjoyed support for much of the season from more than the judges—with viewer votes also keeping her safe from the bottom during the results until week 9 when she fell into the bottom three with Melora Hardin and Suni Lee. If viewers have continued voting for her throughout and want her to win, then they will continue pushing to give her success in the final week of the competition as well.
Cons:
She Has Been In The Bottom
While she didn’t wind up in the bottom until the semi-finals, being there is also a disadvantage that could plague Amanda before the Mirrorball is handed out, because her falling into the bottom now is the wrong time to be there. Two of her fellow finalists have never been there, and Jojo was also only there once—several weeks ago. If they all have stronger fanbases at this point, there won’t be much to protect Amanda from a heartbreaking elimination ahead of the Mirrorball being awarded.
Alan Has Won Recently
Like other finalists, another potential disadvantage plaguing Amanda’s potential win is the fact that her pro partner, Alan Bersten has previously won the Mirrorball trophy—and recently. The last few years have all seen the win go to a team where a pro had not yet previously won the Mirrorball (including when Alan won), and if that trend continues, he won’t be taking home a second trophy. If he isn’t taking home the trophy, Amanda won’t be either.
The “Dancing With the Stars” Season 30 finale airs Monday, Nov. 22 at 8 p.m. EST on ABC.
