Will Cynthia Bailey And Peter Thomas Divorce? ‘Real Housewives Of Atlanta’ Star Admits Marriage Is ‘Not Good’

Cynthia Bailey and her husband Peter Thomas will put on a united front during part two of the “Real Housewives of Atlanta” reunion, but things are far from perfect for them now. The model and Bravo star recently opened up about her marriage to Peter, revealing she’s not sure where things are headed.

“I will say that Peter [and I] are not in a great place right now. Honestly, I don’t know what’s going to happen with us right now,” she said during an appearance on Sirius XM’s Reality Checked with Amy Phillips (via People magazine). “We’re still trying to figure it out. But, you know, it’s complicated.”

Cynthia explained that while filming the Season 8 reunion, which aired its first part last Sunday but was taped several months ago, she and Peter were in a much better place. The 48-year-old sunglasses designer didn’t reveal what drove them apart again, but Peter has been hit with cheating allegations in the past.

“We’ve been married five years, we’ve been together for eight. We’re the only couple on ‘The Real Housewives of Atlanta’ that actually was married on ‘The Real Housewives of Atlanta,’ ” she said, referring to their Season 3 finale wedding. “We’ve never been married outside of the show, and I don’t think that it’s helped us a lot.”

Cynthia went on to say their wedding was “difficult” and the marriage itself has also been “difficult.”

“I usually have all the answers for all the questions, but when it comes to my marriage, I just don’t know right now,” Cynthia admitted. “I just know that it’s not good right now.”

In July, Cynthia also addressed the cheating scandal telling Us Weekly she thought the video of her husband flirting with a woman at his restaurant was “inappropriate,” but said they would handle it.

“My marriage is not perfect,” she said at the time. “We’re going to deal with this issue as husband and wife. Most marriages go through their share of challenges, and ups and downs. Peter and I are no exception.”

On Season 8 of the reality show, Peter and Cynthia tried to rebuild their relationship. In a teaser for Sunday’s reunion, host Andy Cohen quizzes Cynthia and Peter about their marriage. The two say they are still together but Peter admits he still lives primarily in Charlotte, North Carolina, while Cynthia resides in Atlanta. “That sounds like you’re separated,” Cohen tells them.

Part two of “The Real Housewives of Atlanta” Season 8 reunion airs Sunday at 8 p.m. EDT on Bravo.
