Fans may just be starting to get into Colton Underwood’s journey as “The Bachelor,” but a new report is claiming that “Dancing With the Stars” champion Bobby Bones could be the next man trying to find love on the ABC reality series.

Radar Online recently reported that the radio show host, who won Season 27 of “Dancing With the Stars” with Sharna Burgess back in November, was being “wooed” by ABC bosses to become the next star of the hit dating series.

“ABC has huge plans for him,” sources told the website. “he is known to the ABC audience from ‘American Idol’ and now he had won ‘Dancing with the Stars.’ ABC has turned Bobby into a household name, and what would be more exciting than to watch him fall in love?”

Bones himself added fuel to the fire by responding to the story on Instagram, writing “how does one get wooooooo’d?” along with a screenshot of the article.

Though Bones’ response wasn’t a flat-out denial or confirmation, it seems unlikely he would take on the role as “Bachelor” since the show generally keeps its stars as fan favorites from prior seasons. However, it also isn’t the first time the possibility of his being on the show has been floated around. Prior to his stint on “DWTS,” Bones admitted he had been approached to be on the show but had ultimately declined.

After he went on to win “Dancing With the Stars,” he admitted in an interview with Michael Strahan on “Good Morning America” that he’d be interested in the ABC trifecta of “DWTS,” “Bachelor” and “American Idol,” but also admitted that all three shows at once would be a little much for him.
