Will Eva Mendes And Ryan Gosling Get Married After Alleged Baby Girl Is Born?

Ryan Gosling and Eva Mendes apparently became parents Friday, but there is no word on whether the Hollywood couple will get married. Neither of the “The Place Beyond the Pines” stars has verified the alleged child, but rumors have it that Gosling did not want to get married to his lover just because they had a baby together.

Mendes’ alleged pregnancy was reported in July, and shortly after it was reported the “Drive” actor was not interested in tying the knot. “Ryan doesn’t think they need to marry just because they are having a baby,” a source told OK! Magazine at the time. That might not be good enough for Mendes, though. “Eva believes it’s important to have their lives fully intertwined,” the source added.

The couple has been secretive about their relationship and their reported child, but a source told E! Online they were overjoyed after their little one was born. "It was very emotional for Eva and Ryan," the insider said of their daughter's birth. "They were both in tears when they saw their daughter for the first time."

Marriage could be in their future since a source said they are in love and friends and family like them together. "He tells her how sexy and perfect she is all the time. ... He really is like Noah in 'The Notebook!' It's kind of an inside joke, but he's really romantic,” the source said. “They are both so happy and in love. They wanted to start a family for a while now."

Gosling has apparently wanted to be a father for some time. He said if he wasn’t procreating then he would be productive in other ways. "I'd like to be making babies but I'm not, so I'm making movies. When someone comes along, I don't think I'll be able to do both, and I'm fine with that,” he told the Times of London in 2011, according to SheKnows.com. “I'll make movies until I make babies. I have no idea when the handover will happen."
