Will Gisele Bündchen Be At The Super Bowl? Tom Brady's Supermodel Wife Likely To Attend 2017 Game
Gisele Bündchen has stood as a pillar of support for NFL star husband Tom Brady. Following the New England Patriots win of 36-17 against the Pittsburgh Steelers in the NFC Championship, the Brazilian supermodel took to social media Sunday evening to show her support for Brady and the Patriots' big win Sunday evening.
“Congratulations my love!” she wrote in the Instagram post. The couple was pictured wearing matching “Conference Champions” hats.
Bündchen, 36, has supported her husband’s career with the Patriots and has attended her husband’s Super Bowl games in the past. Brady will play in his seventh Super Bowl game this year.
Despite being a mother and the world's highest-paid model, the former Victoria's Secret Angel makes it a point to attend Brady's Super Bowl games -- with kids in tow.
Bündchen is expected to attend the 2017 Super Bowl game, which will be the third Super Bowl game he has played since the two have been together.
The pair has had their ups and downs where Brady's Super Bowl games have been concerned. Following his 2015 win, Brady commented on what it was like to wake up next to his wife post-win in a Sports Illustrated interview.
"I had a nice moment with my wife Tuesday morning," Brady had said after the Sunday game. "We woke up Tuesday, and, now, she's woken up twice next to me after Super Bowl losses [...] And this time, I just looked at her and it was, it was..." Brady faltered for a moment before finishing with, "It was just special. Just pretty special."
Bündchen has consistently supported her husband -- perhaps even at the risk of her own reputation.
In 2012, when the Patriots lost the Super Bowl to the Giants, 21-17, Bündchen vented aloud about the performance of the Patriots offense, according to reports. She was caught on tape pointedly remarking, "My husband can not f****** throw the ball and catch the ball at the same time. I can't believe they dropped the ball so many times."
