Will Hannah B. Become ‘The Bachelorette’? ABC Cuts Her Dramatic Comeback
Hannah B. could be on the way to becoming ABC’s next “The Bachelorette.”
Fans who paid close attention to the preview for Monday’s hometown dates episode may have noticed an appearance from Hannah Brown, who was eliminated one installment prior. While the network didn’t show her during episode 8, the beauty pageant star did film segments with lead Colton Underwood after her elimination.
According to known spoiler blogger Reality Steve, Hannah surprised Colton will a visit to his hotel room while he was in Birmingham, Alabama, filming follow contestant Hannah Godwin’s hometown date. Scenes from the preview supported this.

“I was informed that Hannah B. DID see Colton in Alabama, but it was more about ‘showing up uninvited,’” reported the site. “Obviously, production must’ve convinced Hannah B. this would be a good idea… I’m sure it was another one of these ‘what happened with us’ conversations that leads to nothing.”
After episode 8 failed to show Hannah B.’s comeback, the blogger surmised the footage may have been left on the cutting room floor to make way for a possible Hannah B. “Bachelorette” reign.
“You can speculate why, but since you can make a case on both sides that it could play into her being the next ‘Bachelorette’ or it could play into them NOT casting her, it’s all speculation at this point. I don’t know why they cut it from the episode, I just know it happened and there’s video proof of it…” he wrote Tuesday.
This isn’t the first time Reality Steve has shown support for Hannah B. to be “The Bachelorette.” After contestant Caelynn Miller-Keyes supposedly messed up her chances to be the network’s next star, he began to favor Hannah G. and Hannah B. as potential 2019 leads.
“My eyes are open to the possibility of it now,” he wrote earlier this month. “If you ask me who I think will ultimately get it, I’d say Hannah G., but if Hannah B. did get it, I can’t say I’d be totally shocked anymore. The story is there, and that’s all they’re looking for.”
