Will Lamar Odom, Khloé Kardashian Start A Family? 'KUWTK' Star Wants A Child After NBA Star Recovers

Khloé Kardashian wants to have a child with Los Angeles Lakers player Lamar Odom once he recovers from his current medical crisis. The report comes as the basketball player, who was found unconscious in a brothel last week, is recovering at the Cedars-Sinai medical center in Los Angeles.

“Once Lamar is back to 100%, Khloé wants to have a child with Lamar. And since they have had trouble in the past getting pregnant, adoption is definitely on the table!” a source told Hollywood Life.

The “Keeping Up with the Kardashians” star has reportedly constantly been on Odom’s bedside since he was found and is reportedly very concerned for his well-being. According to a report by Us Weekly, she may end up missing Kim Kardashian’s upcoming baby shower in the process.

“Khloé had wanted to go to Kim’s shower, but Lamar is not doing that well,” an insider told Us Weekly on Friday, adding: “She still hasn’t left his side and is very concerned. She sleeps in the ICU with him.”

According to a report by the Associated Press on Friday, authorities suspect that Odom, 35, may have overdosed on cocaine and other drugs before he was found unconscious at the Love Ranch, a legal Nevada brothel, last week. The report also added that the authorities have not yet ruled out the possibility of taking action against Odom and the brothel. Odom is said to be recovering, but is in a “fragile mental state” after two surgeries.

Khloé, 31, and Odom tied the knot in 2009 and both of them signed divorce papers this July to end their marriage. Khloé was said to be dating Houston Rockets player James Harden, but has reportedly called off the relationship off amid Odom’s medical condition. Khloé, who had posted a message thanking those sending “nothing but prayers and well wishes to Lamar,” has also asked the courts to dismiss the divorce application.

“Her (Khloé) mom and sisters are very worried for her, they’re worried about her health. The circumstances she’s under are so harsh and she’s not making it any easier on herself because she won’t leave his side. She’s been getting a few hours of sleep a night and often less than that. And this is not a nice cushy mattress, she’s been on cots and even slept in a chair one night,” a source told Hollywood Life Thursday.

“Before the emergency surgeries, people were visiting her. She had friends and people from her church coming to do prayer circles. And her mom Kris Jenner was there all the time bring her good food. Khloé hasn’t really been eating much though and now that he’s on lock down, none of her friends are going. She’s all alone,” the source added.
