Will Mark Salling Be Prosecuted? ‘Glee’ Star Accused Of Raping 22-Year-Old Woman

"Glee" star Mark Salling has been accused of raping a 22-year-old woman in a hotel room. According to TMZ, the Los Angeles County District Attorney's office is deciding whether to file charges against the actor.

The woman, whose identity has not been revealed, said she and Salling entered a room where the actor forced himself on her, despite her saying "I can't do this," according to the police report. The woman told TMZ she had been dating Salling for few months before the alleged incident.

While it remains unclear whether Salling will face prosecution in the alleged rape case, the 33-year-old star already faces charges of possession of child pornography.

Last year, Salling was arrested by California police shortly after authorities searched his computer and “found hundreds of images” of young children. It was later reported that minors in the photos appeared to be well under 16 years.

Last month, Salling's ex-girlfriend Naya Rivera told People that she was not "totally shocked" about the actor's arrest. Rivera said that when her learnt about the child pornography charges against Salling, she felt extremely relieved that she was no longer involved with him.

Earlier this year, Salling settled a lawsuit with Roxanne Gorzela, who dropped sexual battery charges against the actor. The actor admitted to “negligently causing her to fall and injure herself,” following which Salling was ordered to pay Gorzela $2.7 million.
