Will Rachel Weisz Make it to Oscar Again?
Rachel Weisz of the Oscar fame for "Constant Gardener" was seen in an elegant red Valentino dress on Wednesday, 27 July 2011 at the Tribeca Grand Hotel, New York for a screening of the movie "The Whistleblower". The Cinema Society & Dior Beauty, along with DeLeio hosted the screening of "The Whistleblower."
All eyes are on Rachel Weisz who picked up the role of an international crusader which would carry her stardom further above. The semblance and body language in the film screening on Wednesday received wider appreciation.
According to Cinema Blend review, "Initially, the movie takes some time to get going but it picks up well and comes out with great power and efficiency. Perhaps the audience could find some lapses but overall the movie could be a rewarding experience. The fact that the move is based on a true story adds value to Rachel's character."
As a Nebraska cop belonging to UN security, Rachel risks her life to expose a child sex-slave and human-trafficking scandal run by US military contractors, the United Nations and her own co-workers in postwar Bosnia. Her hopes of revitalizing the post-war Bosnia sabotaged as she discovers horrendous corruption and cover-up among contractors and multinational diplomats.
The violence, horror, rape scene, and the rest have a real purpose in the movie. The story tells us that the global human trafficking industry is growing maliciously. It is exhilarating to follow scenes about women fighting against impossible odds. "The Whistleblower" also stars Monica Bellucci, Vanessa Redgrave and Benedict Cumberbatch. Watch the movie on silver screen to discover more. The thriller movie is all set to roll out in American theaters from 5 August 2011.
