We may get to see half of the Firestorm make a return on “The Flash,” according to Robbie Amell. The actor recently opened up about possibly reprising his role as Ronnie Raymond on The CW superhero series.

Speaking with Collider, Robbie told the site that he would like nothing more than to return to “The Flash” whenever he’s free. "Anytime that they want me to and I’m available, I’m there," he said. "Everybody on that show is like family. It was nice to be able to be there, at the beginning, when they first started.”

Seeing how there are a lot of characters to juggle on the series, the “Code 8” star says it might be difficult for his character to come back unless there’s a story for his return. “There’s a lot of story to tell and a lot of characters to give their time. If it ever does work out, I’d love to go back, but I also don’t want to step on any toes.”

“So many people there have earned their opportunities to have some great storylines. I think it would probably just be something small, but I would love it,” the actor added.

Amell made his first appearance as Ronnie, the late husband of Danielle Panabaker’s character Caitlin Snow on the first season of “The Flash.” Part of the season revolved around his return after the particle accelerator exploded, merging his body into Martin Stein (Victor Garber) to form the superhero duo Firestorm. The two of them were separated later on, but Ronnie ended up sacrificing himself to save Central City.

His cousin Stephen Amell is also famously known for playing Oliver Queen on “Arrow,” so perhaps if one of them won’t come back, perhaps the other will. Both Amells are co-starring in the film “Code 8” as well as the upcoming TV series currently in development. The actor’s next projects include the films “Desperados” and “The Babysitter 2.”

“The Flash” is scheduled to return from its winter hiatus on Feb. 4 after the conclusion of the epic crossover “Crisis On Infinite Earths.”
