Will Scott Disick, Sofia Richie Get Back Together? Exes Are Texting After Split
Sofia Richie and Scott Disick may have split, but it doesn’t mean they have completely erased themselves from each other’s lives. Despite their break up, sources have claimed that the exes are still in contact with one another.
After three years of dating, Disick and Richie decided to go their separate ways. The two broke up three weeks after the “Keeping Up With the Kardashians” star checked into a treatment facility to seek help to deal with emotions that he previously suppressed following the death of his parents.
Although the pair ended their relationship, sources told Us Weekly that they have been reaching out to one another via text. “Scott and Sofia’s breakup is definitely a real breakup, but they have been staying in touch and texting since they split,” an insider told the outlet.
“Their friends think that there is a big chance they could get back together at some point.”
A source previously told the publication that Richie was having a hard time accepting the fact that Disick still had feelings for his ex-girlfriend Kourtney Kardashian.
“Scott is always going to be in love with Kourtney, and that’s something Sofia has had to face since even before she got serious with him,” the insider explained.
“It’s been an ongoing thing. It just became more apparent that his family was more of a priority than she was, and his family would be his main priority over anything and anyone.”
However, the coronavirus pandemic helped Richie to realize that Disick was still battling some demons, and she wanted him to seek help.
“Sofia noticed that he wasn’t doing well and gave him an ultimatum, and in the end, it seemed like Scott was more focused on Kourtney and his kids than her,” the insider revealed.
In the past, Disick and Richie have had their fair share of relationship issues and managed to work past their problems. Fans of the romance will have to wait to see if the two will find a way to save their relationship.
