On Nov. 1, those who subscribe to Apple's new streaming service Apple TV+ were able to begin streaming "Dickinson." The new show, led by Hailee Steinfeld as poet Emily Dickinson, explores a reimagining of the poet's life. Now, fans of the show are eager to know if they will get to see a second season.

According to the Hollywood Reporter, the dark comedy has already been renewed for Season 2. Per the publication, production is already underway for the upcoming episodes, which means that those who have already viewed the first season may not have to wait as long as they may have initially anticipated when it comes to watching follow-up episodes.

As stated by Elite Daily, "the coming-of-age dramedy blends the transportive elements of a period piece with the irreverent, boisterous energy of modern-day pop culture," which likely was a hit with fans as it makes Emily relatable in new and interesting ways.

Additionally, there is speculation that Season 2 will continue to focus on a different poem in each episode, similarly to Season 1. Those who are hoping to see Dickinson ascend to fame in the series may be disappointed, however, as she did not reach such a feat in real life until her sister Lavinia discovered her trove of poetry after her death. However, there is always a possibility that the writers could make a complete break from what happened in her real life and explore a more fictional route.

"Dickinson" is now streaming on Apple TV+.
