Hallmark Channel's film based on the fairytale love story of Britain’s Prince William and Kate Middleton, “William & Catherine: A Royal Romance” was premiered in New York City on Tuesday.

“William & Catherine: A Royal Romance” chronicles the love story of Prince William and Kate Middleton that resulted in one of the most celebrated royal weddings on April 29, 2011, the distributor channel states.

“At a pivotal point in their courtship, William takes to heart the advice of his mother, the late Princess Diana, which she bestowed in an interview before her untimely death. The message she left for her son: hold on to the love of your life and protect it with all of your heart.”

The film stars Dan Amboyer as Prince William, Alice St. Clair as Kate Middleton, Jane Alexander as Queen Elizabeth II, Victor Garber as Prince Charles, Jean Smart as Camilla, and Lesley Harcourt as the late Princess Diana.

Another film called “William and Kate” was released in UK in April by Revolver Entertainment and was based on the life of the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge.
