The movie “William & Catherine: A Royal Romance” premiered at 9 p.m. ET, Saturday in Hallmark, re-enacting the love story about Prince William and Kate Middleton.

Young actors Alice St. Clair and Dan Amboyer star respectively as Kate and William, portraying how they transitioned from college sweethearts to the royal couple. They crashed into each other in St. Andrew University, developing their relationship from best friends to lovers.

However, as the heir of the British throne's girlfriend, Kate should pass the royalty test, including Prince Charles (starred by Victor Garber), Queen Elizabeth (performed by Jane Alexander), as well as William's stepmother Camilla (portrayed by Jean Smart).

Their love isn't always plain sailing. William and Kate even split once with inevitable grief. But they reconciled, letting their love rebloom like a flower unveiled to the sun.

The lovers overcome all odds and sail together through thick and thin and finally get married in a grand, high-profile wedding on April 29.
