Amazon's list of Hot New Releases in Books, generated on Wednesday, shows that book series for younger audiences are highly anticipated by readers. The top three books on the list consist of two series continuations and one series finale.

Diary of a Wimpy Kid: Cabin Fever by Jeff Kinney

This is the sixth book in the Diary of a Wimpy Kid series. It'll be released on Nov. 15. The first printing will have six million copies, according to the author's Web site.

Inheritance by Christopher Paolini

This will be the fourth and final book in Paolini's Inheritance Cycle series. It'll be released on Nov. 8., bringing to conclusion a popular fantasy series whose first book, Eragon, was published in 2002. The first printing of Inheritance will have 2.5 million copies, according to the author's Web site.

The Son of Neptune by Rick Riordan

This is the second book in Riordan's Heroes of Olympus series. It'll be released on Oct. 4.
