Windows 10 Upgrade: Microsoft Acknowledges Error 0x80073701, But What About The Others?
Microsoft acknowledged the Error 0x80073701 upon installing the latest Windows 10 upgrade which appears to be just one among the recently reported errors that users are experiencing.
Microsoft reportedly acknowledged one of the numerous errors that users encountered during their Windows 10 upgrade, the Error 0x80073701. Microsoft users’ complain flooded the internet recently as they rant about struggling with the latest KB4512508 Cumulative Update ending up facing unidentified issues through various error messages.
Since Microsoft acknowledged only one out of the five errors that users who attempted to go for a Windows 10 Upgrade encountered, reports reveal that these affected users are left waiting whether the software giant will recognize and act upon the said errors.
Windows 10 Upgrade Responses
The other issues that users encountered during their attempt for a Windows 10 upgrade are 0x800f0982, 0x800f081f, 0x800f0845 and 0x8024200D aside from the acknowledged Error 0x80073701 .
Aside from the abovementioned errors, users may also see the “Updates Failed, There were problems installing some updates, but we’ll try again later” response when trying to do the Windows 10 upgrade.
What is Microsoft doing after acknowledging the error?
As part of acknowledging the error, Microsoft is reportedly doing an investigation to the abovementioned error which came as a result of the KB4512508 Cumulative Update for Windows 10 1903 upgrade. The company assured that they are working on a resolution and will provide an update in an upcoming release although no specific time frame was given.

The massive Windows 10 upgrade is the Windows users’ response to the software giant’s consecutive calls for the users to upgrade immediately.
Last month, Microsoft admitted that they are pushing the Windows 10 users who are currently running the 1803 version to upgrade to the latest 1903. They pointed out that the company will no longer support the previous version beginning November 12.
Last week, Microsoft once again urged the Windows 10 users running the 1803 version to immediately upgrade to the latest 1903 version due to the critical vulnerabilities. Reports that surfaced the internet warned users of the presence of wormable security exploits which can have access over users’ data without the need for their permission and an immediate update is necessary.
