Everything seems set and ready for players to get their hands on “The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt.” While all platforms are a go for release, NVIDIA has also released some last-minute details and updates pertaining specifically to the game’s graphics performance on the PC.

Over at the official GeForce blog, the company announced that the game’s graphics have been improved thanks to a new GeForce driver update. This allows the game to make full use of NVIDIA HairWorks, NVIDIA HBAO+, NVIDIA Dynamic Super Resolution and NVIDIA GameStream. NVIDIA details what these different features can do.

HairWorks, as the name suggests, gives a realistic feel to hair and fur, while the HBAO+ contributes another layer of depth to shadows. The full notes and explanation of what to expect from the graphics performance of “The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt” is detailed in the link above.

For the console version, the update 1.02 is also expected to hit, bringing with it some support for the downloadable content. Redditor kuroinferuno provided a screenshot of the update 1.02, which is at 487 MB. PlayStation Lifestyle adds that the DLC update will unlock the Temerian Armor Set and the Beard and Hairstyle Set for Geralt.

Apart from some performance tweaks and update, “The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt” developer also announced that the first two of the expected DLCs for the game will be made available as early as launch day. This will be the first two from the promised 16 free DLCs coming with the game.

“Regarding the free DLC, the 1st two pieces will become available today when the game officially launches,” said Marcin Momot, community lead at CD Projekt Red, on Twitter.

CD Projekt Red has ensured that all the gamers who have bought “The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt” will have access to the free DLCs. Proof of this comes from the message that is attached to the physical copy of the game.

VG 24/7 has a screenshot of the message that the developer left for those who have purchased the game. The letter states that everyone is entitled to free support in the form of patches and content, regardless of the edition or platform version of the game. As such, the 16 DLCs exist for all gamers.

The source also shows a screenshot of the physical map that comes with the standard edition of the game. Without additional costs, “The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt” also comes with a paper map showing the Northern Realms, stickers for marking, CD with the soundtrack, the House of Glass Digital Comic Book, a Compendium booklet and codes for the Battle Arena.
