'Witches of East End' Season 2 Spoilers: Episode 2 Synopsis Released Online; What Will Happen In 'The Son Also Rises'?
The Beauchamp women might not be facing imminent danger anymore, but that doesn’t mean things are going to settle down. In Season 2, episode 2, titled “The Son Also Rises,” the men of East End are going to be the ones who find themselves in trouble.
Joanna is happy to have Frederick back in her life, but Wendy “remains suspicious of his behavior.” In the Season 2 premiere, Frederick immediately cured his mother of her deadly poison and transferred the poison into his own body. Joanna clearly took this as a sign of love, but Wendy remained skeptical.
In episode 2, audiences will explore Frederick's loyalty. “Witches of East End” fans will get to see how Frederick adjusts to being in this world again, especially after spending time in Asgard. It was previously revealed that Frederick had spent hundreds of years in Asgard, and the witches have made it clear that Earth and Asgard are very different. Fans also have to wonder how Freya will handle meeting Frederick.
Freya has more to worry about than just her brother, though. Killian is still missing. While Freya is worrying about the love of her life, he is surprisingly moving on. After turning up on an island after getting shipped out to sea by Dash, Killian will find that “he has a lot in common with new love Eva.” In the last episode, audiences learned that Eva helped nurse Killian back to health after his brother tried to kill him. The two probably have more than a few common interests to share, especially since Eva might also have some kind of magic. Killian has new powers since his mother died, and someone has to help him figure out how to use them.
Killian’s brother is having a little more trouble figuring out how to navigate life with his powers. The synopsis for episode 2 teases that Dash “reluctantly deals with his blackmailer.” Now that Dash has become so angry and unpredictable, it’s hard to know how he will handle anything. He still thinks he might have successfully murdered Killian, so would Dash be willing to murder another person?
“Witches of East End” Season 2 episode 2 airs Sunday, July 13, at 9 p.m. EDT. Will you be tuning in?
