‘Witches Of East End’ Season 2 Spoilers: Episode 5 Synopsis Released Online; What Will Happen In ‘Boogie Knights’?
We can’t wait for “Witches of East End” to return to the small screen with episode 5 so we can finally get some answers! After “Brothers Grimoire” concluded, our head was swirling with questions: Is Frederick really evil? What’s going on between Ingrid and the Mandragora? Will Isis retaliate for the murder of her brother?
Fingers are crossed that the airing of “Boogie Knight,” which debuts on Aug. 10, at 9 p.m. EDT, will answer some of those burning inquiries.

According to the synopsis for episode 5, it looks like fans will get their fair share of flashy flashbacks. “Freya relives one of her past lives with Killian,” the summary teases, sparking our memory of what Maggie Friedman, creator of the Lifetime drama, told us during the 2014 ATX Festival in June.
“We have some really cool flashbacks, to the 1600s,” Friedman said. EP Richard Hatem chimed in, “And one of those flashbacks is from the 1970s … there I said it! It’s our ‘American Hustle’ episode. Hair, mustaches and bell bottoms.”
Hmm, “Boogie Knights,” bell bottoms? It seems all the groovy signs suggest next week’s episode will be pretty psychedelic. Friedman also revealed that during their “American Hustle” episode (directed by Debbie Allen from “Fame”), Jenna Dewan-Tatum would break out her dancing shoes and bust a few supernatural moves. We can barely contain our excitement! Dancing witches? Yes, please!

But that’s not all episode 5 has in store for fans. Dash will reportedly attempt a spell at work without realizing the consequences of his magic. Could one of those repercussions explain what’s going on in the photo above? It looks as if Ingrid’s blue lover will pay Dash a visit – and a painful one at that.
Speaking of the Mandragora, Wendy and Frederick will work together to try and stop the creature that’s been killing residents of East End. But while they attempt to put an end to the Mandragora terror, Ingrid’s relationship with the creature will only grow more intense. Does that mean “WOEE” fans should expect more sexy forest scenes? We can only hope!
Viewers will also get to meet a new character in episode 5 when Joanna seeks out the help of a friend, Alex (Michelle Hurd). In the promo video, fans can hear Joanna explaining to Alex that since the portal opened, two people (that she knows of) have died. Alex will also be the one to break the news to Freya that her relationship with Killian is doomed.
“The two of you are star-crossed. It doesn’t end well. It never has,” Alex says, adding that the cycle of pain and death should be broken “before it’s too late.”
