A Wisconsin woman accused of decapitating her lover during a sex game and putting his severed head and penis into a bucket will begin her trial in March.

The trial for Taylor Denise Schabusiness, 25, is set to start on March 6. Schabusiness is facing first-degree intentional homicide, mutilating a corpse and third-degree sexual assault for allegedly killing Shad Thyrion, 25, in February 2022, Daily Star reported.

Lawyers representing Schabusiness initially claimed she wasn't mentally capable of standing trial. Schabusiness was found competent to stand trial by a judge in May after a psychological exam. But her attorney raised concerns again about her mental state in October, according to WLUK.

Shortly before Thyrion's death, Schabusiness reportedly removed an electronic tag she had been instructed to wear after being found guilty of an unrelated crime. A warrant was issued for Schabusiness' arrest for violating the conditions of her release. But before her arrest, Thyrion's mother found his head in a bucket in the basement of her home on Stony Brook Lane in Green Bay, Wisconsin, Law & Crime reported citing Brown County authorities.

Officers who responded also discovered a "male organ" in the bucket and other body parts scattered around the house.

Schabusiness allegedly told investigators at another home that she went "crazy" during a drug-fueled sex with the victim. The man reportedly put a chain around his neck as part of a sex act. She allegedly said she had no intention of killing him, but she liked choking him and kept doing so, court records showed. She allegedly described the murder as random and yet she continued choking Thyrion even after he coughed up blood.

Schabusiness also allegedly said she performed sexual acts with Thyrion's corpse for about two to three hours.

"Schabusiness responded that the police were going to have fun trying to find all of the organs," prosecutors wrote. "Schabusiness stated all of the body parts should be in the basement. Schabusiness stated there should be a foot or a leg in the minivan. Detective Graf asked Schabusiness what she did with the head, and Schabusiness stated she had put the Victim's head in a black bucket and put a blanket over it."

According to authorities, the accused said she only got the "leg/foot" into the van because she got lazy. She allegedly said she forgot the head.

Officers said they found what looked like dried blood on Schabusiness' hands, sweatshirt and sweatpants. They searched her van and uncovered a crock pot box with more body parts, including legs. During their investigation, officers also found a tote containing an upper torso.
