  • The most memorable scene for Gal Gadot with Pascal is the first meeting between Diana and Max.
  • Patty Jenkins loves how Kristen Wiig portrayed Cheetah.

Max Lord (Pedro Pascal) is the villainous character from the comics who is being introduced in “Wonder Woman 1984.” Gal Gadot, who is reprising her titular role, teased some details about the character recently.

A team from the movie, including Gadot, were at the Comic Con Experience in Brazil (CCXP), where they teased some details about the upcoming film, CBR reported. Gadot revealed that her most memorable moment working with Pascal is at the beginning of the film.

Gadot isn’t allowed to share too much about her movie, but she did tease what it was like for her character to meet Max Lord for the first time in the film. The actress revealed that Diana has never met a character like Max before in her whole life, which should make this first meeting exciting to watch.

Although Pascal will be portraying Max Lord for the first time in “Wonder Woman 1984,” the role was previously supposed to be played by Jay Baruchel in a “Justice League” movie, CBR reported. The cast, scripts, costumes, and the production sets for “Justice League: Mortal” were all ready, but the filming didn’t start because of a variety of reasons.

Max Lord is a character from the comics who is a successful businessman. The character was seen as a good person in the beginning, but it was later revealed that he was actually a villain. It remains to be seen what back-story the character will get in the upcoming movie.

The other big villain in the movie is Cheetah (Kristen Wiig). During the panel discussion at the CCXP, director Patty Jenkins talked about why she chose Wiig for the role and at the same time revealed the story arc of her character, CBR reported.

According to Jenkins, they chose Wiig because they wanted someone who could play a character who is funny and a friend of Diana, and then transition into something entirely different over the course of the movie. The director felt that Wiig could pull it off, and the actress apparently delivered a performance beyond Jenkins’ “wildest dreams” in “Wonder Woman 1984.”
