'Wonder Woman' Star Gal Gadot Shares Vacation Bikini Pictures With 'Inspiring Women'
After wrapping filming for the highly anticipated “Wonder Woman” sequel, Gal Gadot went on a vacation with her girlfriends. The actress has shared pictures of her trip on social media and expressed gratitude for the kind of life she has and the “inspiring” women who are her friends.
In the pictures that Gadot shared on Instagram, she described her vacation as “magical.” She is currently on vacation in Maldives with friends, including Israel actresses Rotem Sela, Maya Dagan and Yael Goldman, USA Today reported. Gadot wrote that she is lucky to have such “inspiring” women as friends.
Gadot is having a lot of fun during her vacation. Apart from the laughs and the funny moments, which apparently are aplenty, the actress also had “deep conversations about life” with her friends. Some of the other pictures in her post showed her swimming while wearing a bikini with her friends, relaxing at the beach and doing some yoga. “Couldn't be more grateful,” she wrote.
Taking a vacation halfway across the globe meant that Gadot had to miss some important events back in the U.S. The Jerusalem Post reported that the actress was nowhere to be seen at the 2019 Golden Globes in California. Her movie, “Ralph Breaks the Internet,” was nominated in the best animated film category. The actress’ decision seems to have been the right one because her film didn’t actually win.
This was a girls-only trip, and that meant Gadot’s husband, Jaron Varsano, wasn’t invited. What’s the occasion? The women were reportedly celebrating the 40th birthday of Yael Goldman Pfeffer, who is the wife of Israeli actor Ori Pfeffer. Her birthday was actually in September, but the ladies postponed the trip to wait for Gadot to join them.
Among the fun things the women have reportedly tried during the trip were snorkeling and dolphin watching. A video of Gadot enjoying in the clear blue waters of Maldives was posted on Instagram.
Gadot’s next big film is the “Wonder Woman” sequel. The actress announced on Instagram in December that she wrapped up filming. The shooting took place in four “very different” locations in three countries. About 1,000 crew members were reportedly involved in the filming.
The “Wonder Woman” sequel will be “more unique” and “special” than the first film, Gadot teased. The actress shared her gratitude for being given the chance to play this character. She later added that she can’t wait to share the film with the fans in 2020.
