‘World Of Dance’ Season 1 Divisional Finals Top 6 Contestants Named
The top six contestants who will be competing in the divisional finals of “World of Dance” Season 1 have just been named!
On Tuesday night, the remaining team dancers and all of the upper dancers who made it past the duels performed for a chance to compete in the divisional finals. Previously, Swing Latino and Super Crew already impressed judges Jennifer Lopez, Ne-Yo and Derek Hough, along with guest judge Misty Copeland. However, Super Crew’s score did not earn them a spot in the next round. Next week, Swing Latino will be competing against Kinjaz, reports Hollywood Life.

Following their performance this week, Kinjaz received an average score of 95. Professional ballet dancer Copeland, according to ET Online, couldn’t help but comment that the group’s routine was almost perfect. Ian Eastwood and the Young Lions and the Chaps Dance Family also performed, but their scores of 89 and 85.8 weren’t enough to secure them a spot in the divisional finals.
Meanwhile, Luka & Jenalyn, Les Twins, Fik-Shun and Keone & Mari also performed for their lives in most recent episode of the hit NBC reality dance competition. Unfortunately, Luka & Jenalyn did not impress the judges. Their score of 80.5 got them sent them home immediately.
Fik-Shun, who currently appears in “So You Think You Can Dance” Season 14 as an all-star, was also booted off the competition, reports BuddyTV. His score of 84.2 was unimpressive compared to the scores that Keone & Mari and Les Twins received. The couple scored an average of 93.2, and they ended up at the top of the leader board. Les Twins lagged closely behind with a score of 92.
Previously, Eva Igo and Diana Pombo received averages of 92.5 and 92, which means that they will be representing the junior category in the divisional finals next week. All six contestants will be performing next Tuesday, but it is unclear if the results will immediately be revealed towards the end of the installment. Following the divisional finals, the top three contestants from the junior, upper and team categories will battle it out in the world finals.
“World of Dance” Season 1 airs Tuesdays at 10 p.m. EDT on NBC.
