World Teacher Day 2018: Where To Get Freebies And Discounts

Teacher Appreciation Day won’t happen again for several months, but educators can still cash in on great deals. In honor of World Teacher Day 2018, also known as International Teachers Day, on Friday, Oct. 5, dozens of companies are celebrating teachers by offering freebies and discounts galore. Overstock- Teachers can get a free membership to Club O Gold. The membership includes free shipping and early access to sales.

Pluckers- Teachers can get one free appetizer year-round when they visit a Pluckers on Fridays from 3-7 p.m.. There is one free appetizer per two guests and the app sampler is excluded from this deal.

Microsoft- Those with a vlaid school email addres can download Office 365 for free. This program includes Word, Excel, PowerPoint, One Note and Microsoft Teams. (Educators can also get 10 percent off the purchase of Windows devices.)

Chuck E. Cheese – If you book a school fundraiser through the chain you will get promotional materials prior to the event, 10-free-play points sticker for each enrolled child, a school visit from Chuck E. on the day of the event, and a free meal for each teacher in attendance. Champion- You don’t have to be an active teacher to get this deal. Champion, JustMySize, One Hanes Place, and Hanes websites are offering educators 10 percent off their orders. Teachers who use this offer will also only have to pay one shipping charge for shopping on all of the named sites.

Banana Republic- Enjoy 15 percent off your full-priced, in-store purchase. You will need to present your valid ID in order to participate. This offer is not valid in factory outlet stores.

J.Crew- You can get 15 percent off your online order at J.Crew.

Madewell- Teachers can get 15 percent off their purchase when they shop in store. This promotion is not available on Madewell’s website.

Sperry- Offers.com reports teachers can get 15 percent off any order. No coupon code is required.

Tommy Hilfiger- Get 15 percent off your next purchase when you select “teacher discount” at checkout. You will have to verify your status.

West Elm- Educators can get 15 percent off their orders by entering their .edu email address on the store’s Ace Your Space page.

A.C. Moore- Teachers can get 15 percent off their sale and regular-priced items when they shop. This offer cannot be combined with total purchase price coupons. Other exclusions apply.

Michaels- Like A.C. Moore, teachers can always get 15 percent off their buys, including sale items.

Costco- New members who purchase a membership activation certificate will receive over $60 in savings. Certificates must be purchase online and are not available in stores.

CoolFrames.com- You will get $20 off for every $200 you spend, plus an additional 5 percent off your purchase. Other promtions cannot be combined with this offer and certain brands are excluded from this deal.
