Dubai is now home to the world’s highest restaurant ‘At.mosphere’, situated 442 meters up in the sky on the 122th floor of the 828-meter world’s tallest building Burj Khalifa.

The glass-walled restaurant, which opened its doors to the public on Sunday, is spread over an area of 1,030 square meters and is 92 meters taller than the next highest restaurant, the revolving 360 Restaurant in Toronto’s CN Tower.

The world’s new highest luxury restaurant ‘At.mosphere’, which offers an unparalleled view of the skyview, can accommodate 210 people over a lounge and grill.

‘At.mosphere’ has prohibitively priced its food items as visitors who book this restaurant’s private dining area are expected to cough up at least $176.9 a guest and about $100 for sipping their afternoon tea.

Guests must spend $54.45 a person to enjoy their drinks and munch their favorite snacks in the lounge area while patrons are expected to be charged a minimum of $122 a person for those who are keen to get a booking at the restaurant.

The restaurant, which has raised the bar for Dubai’s hospitality industry, can be reached using its own private elevator from Burj Khalifa’s corporate suites lobby.

“I think it's going to set new standards for Dubai and maybe the world and even give people the opportunity to see something different when they stay in Dubai,” Marc Dardenne, CEO of Emaar Hospitality and Emaar Hotels and Resorts was quoted as saying in a media report.
