Worst Dressed At 2020 Critics’ Choice Awards: Mandy Moore, Kelly Clarkson, More
Sunday night was a time for celebration at the 2020 Critics’ Choice Awards. While the stars were recognized for their on-camera talent, some of them failed to show the same flair on the red carpet.
Like the previous years, the stars walked on a blue carpet, which may or may not have clashed with some of their wardrobe choices.
The 25th annual Critics’ Choice Awards appeared to be a series of bad choices for several stars. At first glance, Mandy Moore wore a functional jumpsuit, but after a second look, the actress’ outfit began to disappoint.
The “This Is Us” star’s Elie Saab suit featured a plunging neckline and gold-chain belt. However, her cape completely ruined the outfit.
Charlize Theron also made a bad choice when she chose to put a black blazer over her striped slit dress by Celine. The actress would have stood out in the best way on the blue carpet if she didn’t attempt to mute the gown with a random blazer.
Meanwhile, Janet Mock seemed to be stuck in the wrong decade with her red carpet choice. The “Pose” star wore a teal floor-length Valentino gown that was a major mistake.
The dress lacked structure and was paired with glittering leather gloves that may have been impressive in the 80s, but not so much nowadays.
Although Olivia Wilde’s fiery orange Valentino dress made her pop on the blue carpet, the puffed sleeves and pleated midi-length skirt created an odd look on the actress.
While Wilde would have looked stunning if the dress was more fitted, or even featured a ball gown skirt, her chosen look left onlookers disappointed.
Kelly Clarkson also managed to land herself on the 2020 Critics’ Choice Awards worst dressed list. “The Voice” judge couldn’t perfect the little black dress look on the blue carpet.
Clarkson’s long-sleeved Alessandra Rich gown featured ruffles along the neckline and sleeves. While it seemed like she was going for an old Hollywood glam look, she simply failed to make a good impression.
