For the first time since 2005, “WrestleMania” will be making its way back to Los Angeles as the 37th installment of the iconic World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE) event will be held in Inglewood.
As reported by The Wrap through Yahoo! Entertainment, WWE announced Monday that the soon-to-be-opened SoFi Stadium will host “WrestleMania 37” on March 28, 2021.
The SoFi Stadium is scheduled to open this summer and will be the new home of the Los Angeles Rams and Los Angeles Chargers.

Los Angeles Mayor Eric Garcetti told The Wrap that wrestling fans will see a city that is “ready to host them.”
“There is nothing quite like WrestleMania Week. It is a one-of-a-kind event that provides an economic boost to the region,” he said.
Inglewood Mayor James T. Butts, Jr., who also expressed his enthusiasm in hosting such a historic event, pointed that “WrestleMania” will add to the growing “national and internationally followed events” the city will be hosting for the next eight years.
