Monday begins the annual event of Wimbledon, but before this famous event takes place, even tennis stars need to do a little bit of partying to take off the edge. The Wimbledon pre-party, hosted by Sir Richard Branson and the Women's Tennis Association, was crawling with the hottest designers and celebrities including Naomie Harris, Vic Reeves, George Lamb, Eliza Doolittle and Holly Valance.

The tennis stars were the ones who stole the show in their designer get-ups. Caroline Wozniacki wore a Stella McCartney one - shouldered black dress; Maria Sharapova was dressed in a lovely red Alexander McQueen dress, Li Na, the winner of the French open, looked fabulous in a Delaroche print gown designed by Giles Deacon; and Serena Williams stunned cameras in emerald form fitting Burberry dress.
