World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE) is making every effort to ensure the pro-wrestling stars on its roster do not walk way once their contracts expire, especially with the lure of All Elite Wrestling (AEW). The new promotion is offering lucrative deals similar to WWE which has turned the heads of a number of stars.

The world’s most popular pro-wrestling promotion has been offering new deals to its superstars while they also have been adding time to contracts of wrestlers who have missed ring time due to injury in recent years. The latest to receive new deals, according to Fightful’s Ross Sapp, via Sportskeeda, is tag team duo The Revival, who the WWE has been trying to sign up since the start of the year.

Scott Dawson and Dash Wilder were not happy with the promotion at the start of the year and had asked for a release from their contracts. WWE refused their demand and instead gave them a push in the tag team division, which saw them first claim the RAW tag team titles and most recently they claimed the SmackDown Live titles.

They are still said to be unhappy about their position within the company and have not accepted the new offer. Their current contracts expire in 2020 and they could, if no time is added to either of their contracts, walk away from the promotion and join a rival brand, most likely to be AEW, who have been attracting lot of attention from WWE stars seeking a change.

WWE have a number of other stars also reaching the end of their respective deals in 2020 with Matt Hardy one among them. The former multiple tag team champion will be out of contract next year and admitted recently that he has a difficult decision facing him when the time comes.

The conundrum facing Hardy is that his brother Jeff Hardy, who is the other half of the tag team Hardy Boyz – is contracted until 2021 – after the WWE added time to his contract as he is likely to miss over a year through injury. Hardy could walk away and continue his singles career with another promotion and recently talked up AEW admitting that its emergence is good for pro-wrestling on the whole.

"Yes, it's great, I mean it's going to help everyone and it's beneficial for everyone," Hardy said, as quoted on Wrestling Inc. "It forces—ya know, no one is going to be on the global competition level of WWE because it's so entrenched everywhere. But just AEW coming out, having this programming, and having a good spot on television. It's going to be great for us too because it's going to push our creative team, our minds, and our talents to do even better."
