  • Foley reveals his favorite character isn't Mankind

Mick Foley is one of the more beloved individuals in WWE. He’s known for cutting exceptional promos that are able to connect with the crowd. His entrance music is usually accompanied by a deafening pop the moment the iconic car crash sound echoes across the arena. His persona is unique and creative as it depicts Mick Foley as someone with multiple alter egos.

The character that saw the most success was his Mankind phase as he was depicted as a masked troubled individual. Mankind brought so much to the ring and the industry. The character was so well developed that it propelled Foley as an all-time great. Some of WWE’s unforgettable moments include Mankind with the unique Mr. Socko character coupled with dangerous and extreme spots. Nothing else compares to when The Undertaker threw Mankind off of the top of the Hell in a Cell straight to the announcer’s table.

But when asked about his favorite alter ego, Foley didn’t go for Mankind. Instead, he went for Corporate Dude Love – a gimmick of his Dude Love persona who sold out and hugged it out with WWE chairman and CEO Vince McMahon.

Although that was the top of mind answer from Foley, he still shared some kind words for Mankind. Per TMZ, he said that Mankind is still up there as his great stints. “Mankind as a whole, especially the latter-day Mankind who teamed up with a little known entity named Dwayne The Rock Johnson.”

Mankind and The Rock were part of the tag team called The Rock 'n' Sock connection where they won the tag team titles on three separate occasions. “We did some good things together,” he added.

He then joked about how if given the chance to perform his famed Mandible Claw finisher with Mr. Socko that he would take precaution before proceeding. His move entails putting his hand inside the mouth and applying pressure into the soft tissue found at the bottom of the mouth. “I would just have to subtly put some sanitizer to make sure I was taking care of my opponent, so it would still be equally effective.”
